So here we are, another month down, and it seems like every second she’s either growing right before my eyes or learning a new trick. Today at the doctor’s office she rolled from her belly to her back. Which is nice, because for the past month she’s been rolling from her back to her belly and not being able to flip back. She’s laughing, giggling, looking around, moving her legs in the crawling position, lifting up off the floor, speaking spanish, flipping cartwheels.
Here are her most recent stats:
Weight: 15 pounds, 13 ounces
90th percentile
Height: 26.25 inches
95-97 percentile
Head circumference: 42 cm
75th percentile
She got her second round of shots, only two this time. I think we were so worked up about it we were about to make ourselves sick. She did so much better this time, I think it startled her more than anything but once the nurse was done, and we started talking to her, she looked at us with big tears in her eyes and then started smiling. Trooper.
We may start rice cereal in the next few weeks. Since Tron has allergies we are trying to hold off a little longer. Plus, she’s growing up too fast. I think I’ll just have her on the bottle until she’s about 4.
Also going to start transitioning her to her crib in the next few weeks. Don’t rush me. My problem is that right now in the co-sleeper she sleeps propped up, and when we take her to the crib, it’ll need to be empty. When she’s flat on her back she seems to wake up more, but now that she’s rolling over maybe she will prefer sleeping on her side or her belly.
Alright gotta go feed this little linebacker. love to all.
